Avoid unless quality doesn't matter
The actual frames of these box frames were not too bad, but the frame sections inside were appalling quality. The wood was rough and unfinished. The front faces of two frames had not been painted at all, and the entire inside of another frame had not been painted with sufficient coverage, so that bare wood showed through in places. I have just had to spend the afternoon sanding and spray painting four box frames. The paint runs from when they were factory painted did not make this easy. These make cheap and cheerful frames if that's all you need, but seek better quality frames elsewhere if these are for a special project.

Very versatile product!
I must have purchased this 20/30 of the same item! This deep box frame is so versatile and can be used in many different ways. I have used this deep box frame as a gift for Graduation, pairing with wooden letters of the Graduate's name and decorated with Graduation themed embellishments. Also, I have brought wooden filigree hanging letters from Hobbycraft placed that inside the deep box frame as gifts for newborns! I know I will be purchasing more of these deep box frames as I love being creative with my gifts and I'm very excited to see what else I can use this for.

Nice little box frame
I bought this box frame after receiving the Hobbycraft email newsletter that had ideas for Father’s Day in it. I have printed some old photographs of myself and my sister when we were young and used them to make a collage inside the frame. I then added some black letters in the middle saying ‘Dad’. The only slight downside to the frame is that, by the time I had gotten it home, it already had two small dents in one side of it - the wood does dent quite easily. It is otherwise quite robust and I like the white colour.

Inspiring times
I’ve bought this product initially to make a little memento box for my friend as a gift. It turned out there were so many things that could be done with this versatile box I ended up adding extra bits that I found at Hobbycraft shop, such as fabric, paint and little wooden letters.
My friend loved her gift and I got inspired to create even more. Thanks HoobyCraft

Only 1 of 3 items of good quality
Disappointed to be honest. Whoever picked the frames for packaging clearly didn't look at them. Only one was in perfect condition. One just about useable and only defected so got to take back. Note to self : In future I am going to have to go and look at the items myself as I would have put two back on the shelf and not bought them. Disappointing

This product did not disappoint
I have to say I was quite concerned that these box frames wouldn't arrive in one piece as they were being delivered, rather than me collecting them, but they arrived safe and sound having been very well protected. They were exactly the right size for my project and the clips on the back were robust enough for me to open them up several times without showing any signs of weakening. So it will be easy enough for me to try a new design using the same boxes if needs be.
