How to make

Start by opening the project in the Cricut Design Space app using the project link at the top of this post, or alternatively use this link - https://design.cricut.com/landing/project-detail/6377fc75901a4d3fbd5db85d
To access the project, copy and paste the link into your browser, you will be directed to a Cricut landing page, select 'Open' followed by 'Open Cricut Design Space Application'.
The app will open (you may be prompted to log in) and the project overview screen will appear.
Select 'Customise'
Once through to the Canvas screen, re-size your chosen design as desired.
Top Tip: Ensure the padlock icon remains locked, so that the design resizes proportionately.
To amend the name on the design, double-click on the name element to highlight it and then type begin to type your chosen name.
Top Tip: If using a name that is quite long, make sure to double-check the measurement of this to ensure if will fit on your base item.
Once happy with the design select 'Make it'.
You will then be taken to the mat preview screen. Ensure the 'Mirror' function is enabled on all the mats; this will ensure all items display correctly once pressed onto your base item.
Once happy that everything is present and correct, click 'Continue'.
Once through to the machine set-up screen, select the relevant cut setting for the material you are using - we've used Everyday Iron-on.
Apply the iron-on vinyl to the cutting mat, with the right-side face down, then follow the on-screen instructions to cut the design.
Follow the step-by-step instructions on the Heat Guide to press the design onto the stocking.
As the egg design requires different layers to be applied to create the final piece, start by applying the full egg shape (purple layer in Design Space first), followed by the pink flowers, and finally the white dots and name.
Once the final transparent carrier sheet has been removed from the iron-on vinyl layer, your gift bag is then ready to use!
