How to make

Step-1

Make 5ch, and slst into first ch made, to make a ring. Round 1 – 1ch, work 15dc into ring, slst to 1st dc to complete round. (15sts). Round 2 – 1ch, work (2dc in next st, 2dc) 5 times, slst to complete round. (20 sts)

Step-2

To Make First Point : Row 1 – 1ch, work 1dc into each of next 4sts, turn. Row 2 – as row 1. Row 3 – 1ch, dc2tog, 2dc. (3sts). Turn. Row 4 – 1ch, dc2tog, 1dc. (2sts). Turn. Row 5 – 1ch, dc2tog. Make 3ch and slst to top of point to make a loop for attaching string or ribbon for tag. Fasten off.

Step-3

Second Point : Join wool to next st on main part of star and repeat rows 1-5, omitting loop at the end. Fasten off. Repeat second point for 3rd, 4th and 5th points. Weave in loose ends. To make the crochet tree into a tag, use a needle thread with wool/yarn and push through the top of the tree to form a loop. Trim both strands to the desired length and secure both ends of the wool/yarn with a knot
