Lovely wool but not as thick as normal DK
My mum treated me to this wool. It knits up nicely but it seems a lot thinner than DK, more like 4 ply. The colours are beautiful but there seems to be much more yellow and orange than the other colours - pink, purple and green. It’s a shame the colours are not in the same proportions.
I’m making some ankle warmers to go over my ice skates.

Thinner than suggested
This looks and feels lovely but is does not knit/ crochet up as double knit. It is closer to 4 ply/ fingering weight. It is also a brushed wool so it is quite difficult to frog back if you make a mistake.

Beautiful yarn
This was the only shade in stock at my Hobbycraft at the time I bought it. It did seem more like a 4 ply at first but after washing it blooms and makes a lovely, light and cosy fabric. So don't use smaller needles because it appears so thin, you will end up with a very tight project! I made a small blanket in Tunisian crochet and it is lovely to work with.

Fabulous colourful soft yarn!
Absolutely stunning colours that work really well together, love the bright sunniness of the yellow next to the more muted greens etc. really nice to work with & super soft! It is a low wool percentage which I normally avoid due to skin irritation but my skin is perfectly happy & I’m really looking forward to finishing my blanket!

Nice and soft, lovely colours.
'm currently knitting a 'half & half wrap', which is turning out big and heavy enough for a lap blanket instead, so I'd like to make another, smaller one in lighter yarn; I bought this particular ball of yarn using my birthday voucher, and will pair it with the same or a contrasting colour.

A nightmare to knit with
Really hard to knit with sticks on the needles have to knit very very loosely . The wool is thin impossible to pull out if you make a mistake as it just break. If the wool was a better quality it would be perfect the colours are very pretty

Colourful and soft too!
I purchased this simply because the colours are so lovely and bright. I have been knitting with this yarn and yes, it is indeed beautiful, it is also super soft and pleasant to touch when knitted up.
