How to Make a Die Cut Wedding Card

Gorgeous detailed dies from tattered lace are a perfect fit for any wedding card; the ornate detailing really makes for something special. With a splash of silver and a little lilac, this die cut wedding card is a classic!

How to make

Step 1

Cut white cardstock to create a 30cm x 13cm rectangle and score and fold a vertical line at 10.5cm to create a card.

Step 2

Cut an 18.5cm x 12cm rectangle from white cardstock. Wrap a length of ribbon around the rectangle and secure on the back. Mat onto a 19cm x 12.5cm rectangle cut from lilac cardstock. Mat onto the inside of the card.

Step 3

Cut a 9.5cm x 12cm rectangle from white cardstock. Mat onto a 10cm x 12.5cm rectangle cut from lilac cardstock. Mat onto the card.

Step 4

 Using the Village Church die, cut one from silver mirror cardstock. Using the Enchanting Couple die, cut one from silver mirror cardstock. Using the Delightful Flowers die set, cut one large, two small and two extra small from lilac cardstock. Using the Delicate Leaves die set, cut two large leaves from green cardstock. Using the Exquisite Alphabet die, cut ‘On Your Wedding Day’ from silver mirror cardstock.

Step 5

 Mat the silver Village Church onto the front of the card. Mat the silver Enchanting Couple onto the inside of the card as shown.

Step 6

Create a triple loop bow with lilac ribbon and mat onto the inside of the card. Ink around the edges of the flowers with Dusty Concorde. Mat the flowers and leaves onto the card as shown. Finish with silver gems.
