Disappointing
I couldn’t wait to make this and it’s such a pretty pattern on good offer. The pattern is only suitable for women with no hips or bottom whatsoever. I’m a size 12 but sized up to a 14. I spent a considerable amount of time making it but when I put it on the dress form it was a good 4 inches too small across the backside . And in case your wondering I’m average proportions!
Unless you are built like HRH Kate steer clear- I am trying to save the dress by adding in an extra section at the back which is such a faff. Very disappointing and I wonder if this is how Hobbycraft can afford to sell it- frankly it just isn’t very good for an adult woman.
I have also seen other reviews on different sites.
