Product description

Turn your home into a delightful animal sanctuary with Edward’s Menagerie Book that includes over 40 soft and snuggly toy animal crochet patterns. Edward’s mother, and author of the book, Kerry Lord picked up a crochet hook for the first time just two weeks before Edward was born. This book contains the collection of crochet animals that were created in the following 12 months after a new obsession began.

From Emma the Bunny to Piotr the Polar Bear and Simon the Sheep to Penelope the Bear, this fascinating book contains 40 animals for you to try your hand at. Even if you were in Kerry’s position and have not even touched crochet needles before, this book will guide you through everything you need to know. The step-by-step techniques are as clear as possible for beginners to pick up and begin making. It includes raw and extremely useful tips and tricks from a self-taught newbie to get you on your way to being a confident crocheter.

The book is divided into three levels with each step building you up to the slightly harder makes in level three, but don’t worry, you will be sure to crack Hamlet the Cheetah or Caitlin the Giraffe with this nifty little book. Fall in love with a brand new hobby and start creating beautiful animal toys for any little ones in the family and of course a few for you!

  • Includes 40 adorable animal patterns
  • The book is divided up into three hardness levels

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to follow instructions I was brought this as a birthday day and it's excellent I love it, easy to read and follow. You can change the colours and make tiger a white tiger,. I loved that it had raccoons & foxes in. I have a long list of animals to make as my daughter and nephews liked looking through it as much as I did. I 100% recommend this book to anyone that likes making animals :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice book Lovely book, but didn't like having to flip back and forth to different pages for the pattern. (one standard pattern for body and legs, but some animals have a small variation on this and you need to goto their pattern to find out what it is before flitting back to the standard pattern). Also could do with a little more guidance on "free form style" and Winston the aardvarks tail. However saying that I would still recommend the book and will make more of the animals from it when I get the time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Packed full of patterns I have been crocheting for a few years now and have only just started to make amigurumi. This book is great because the patterns are easy to read and because they all have the same generic body shape it is easy to improve on your own work.
