How to Make a Cherry Printed Tablecloth
Add some beautiful cherry prints to your plain tablecloth and create the perfect summer décor for dinner parties and lunches in the garden with family and friends.
This project is quick and easy to recreate, which means you can effortlessly transform your tablecloth in no time. You could even create matching napkins!

How to make
You will also need:
* Prosecco cork or carrot
* Small new potato
* Knife
* Piece of card/ thin cardboard
Pour some of the red acrylic paint into a small pot and spread around so it is easy to place your cork in and cover the whole surface.
If needed, use a paint brush to spread the paint over the cork so you have even coverage.
Begin in the corner of your linen (I'd also suggest having a practice on paper first to check you are happy with how your cherry print looks).
Press your cork down and then reapply the paint to the cork to repeat so you have two circles sat about 5cm from each other.
For the stem fold a piece of card or cardboard in half so you create a mini tent with it.
This is going to act as your stem so check you are happy with the proportions against your cherry circles, you don't want the stem to be too long or short.
Once you are happy with your card length dip into a dish of green paint so sides are evenly covered.
Press this down in place so that the stem joins on the cherries.
Cut your new potato in a leaf shape using a kitchen knife again checking you are happy with the proportion size to your cherry shapes.
Apply paint to the potato and place down at an angle from the top of the stem, repeat so you have two leaves overlapping.
Repeat this technique across your linen ensuring you keep equal distance between your motifs for a well balanced pattern.
Leave overnight to dry.
