Not great for the price
This looked great and it was quite fun but, the ink pad was so wet, we struggled to get finger prints from it to look at.
Similarly, dusting for prints was tricky, we did manage to get some but they didn’t lift off with the tape at all. It amused my daughter for a while and it was a shame as it could’ve been great if it worked as described but overall, it was disappointing.

A great addition to my scientist career box!
I bought this product to add to my scientist career box at school and the groups who have used it have absolutely loved it!
There are two ways to capture finger prints and both work well. Think we may have inspired some future forensic scientists!

Finger print kit
Absolutely awful! £12 thrown away!
No instructions so a 10 year old had nothing to work from. We tried to work it out together and failed! I was a science teacher for 32 years and have seen nothing as bad as this. Very angry and upset!

Makes a great gift
It makes a great gift for older kids who are interested in forensic science... My 11 year old loves it and collects samples where he goes

Fingerprint dusting kit
Would not recommend, my child’s fingers where stained black for days! Also missing the dusting pot so couldn’t complete it.
