Great product for additional priming!
This product is great for priming my canvas boards and getting a finer, smoother texture, I prefer to use on my already bought primed boards….for acrylic wildlife and pet portraiture.
I add 4 coats in individual layers…applying firstly using strokes in a landscape direction, then portrait etc..and when dry to touch, use a 120+ grade sandpaper to achieve the finish I like.

Easy to use
Brought this for my first project painting a wooden crate. It went on the surface very smoothly and it is thick. I followed the instructions and sand it after the first application and tried diluting it for the second application. A little bit goes a long way. The crate is smooth and I now have a good base to paint on.

Using Liquitex Professional White Gesso
Liquitex Professional white Gesso needs to be mixed well before using but apart from that gaves a good covering and works well.
