My son was given the Millennium Falcon in the similar series and we decided to make them together in our father/son bonding session after Christmas. Thoroughly enjoyable – I found only the application of the decals very fiddly to apply, but apart from that I shall be returning to modelmaking with gusto

Rated 4 out of 5 by Fidgetandsquidge from Snowspeeder model My 12 year old really enjoyed making this, and spent some happy focused hours on it (about 3?), spread over a few sessions. He says it is an accurate depiction of the Star Wars snowboarder (and the details matter to him so I believe him!). 4 stars instead of 5 just because some of the bits didn’t match up perfectly, although they could all attach ok. The decals are really fiddly but perhaps that’s part of the challenge.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AndyComber from Great beginner models The detail in these models is not as high as more expensive brands however that is reflected in price and with the offer of 2 models for £15 make a very affordable intro to the hobby. More experienced model makers may find it lacking in detail etc but for amateurs or kids the instructions are easy enough to follow with a little persistence. Thumbs up for Star Wars fans like me

I would recommend getting a primer before painting, looks very good with the paint that comes in the box, and represents what you see in the movie.
