A fantastic basic kit
I picked this kit up on impulse as I'm a pretty big Star Wars fan and I'm an avid model builder.
The kit itself is nicely detailed and easy to assemble making it a suitable project for any model maker young or old (though the very young will need assistance from an adult to clip the components from the sprues).
The main reason that I've given the kit 4 rather than 5 stars though is that being a basic kit it needs a little 'extra' treatment to make it more accurate, mostly due to the panel lines on the hull being unshaded.
The only other niggle is the decal sheet that comes with the kit - it seems superfluous as it would be easier in all cases to simply paint the details on the decal sheet in place instead.
Overall though this is a fantastic basic kit, something to kill a rainy afternoon with no matter how old you are.

Didn't see anywhere before purchase that you also need around 20 quids worth of paints and brushes to complete model
