Very nice yarn
The womens institute chunky yarn has a very nice feel to it and knits up well. I had no issues with tension, very pleased with the finished result. However DO NOT buy knitting needles from hobbycraft, the plastic ones are poorly made and finished with rough unfinished points that hurt your fingers and the surface of the needles grab the yarn. I had to buy others in order to make my sweater, the charity shops are a great place to find goid quality needles for cheap

Good quality and soft
I am a novice wool buyer so I wasn’t sure which wool would be best for making a blanket. This brand felt very soft (probably due to the merino wool) and I liked the chunky style. The only downside for me is that the colour change doesn’t happen as frequently or seamlessly as I had expected. Perhaps this wool is better suited to a women’s institute pattern, but it still looks nice in my blanket even if it wasn’t what I had expected.

Gorgeous chunky wool
Love this, knitted a wonderful soft snood out of it. The only downside is the colours change suddenly and randomly so can leave odds lines in your knitting, but overall a lovely chunky yarn for winter projects!

Great texture!
The wool is incredibly soft and was great for making my scarf. The wool has no itchy feeling on the skin and my friend loves the scarf I made for them wih it and other people always ask me where I got the wool from.

The wool I bought was so good I went back and bought more
I am making a fusion quilt and using WI with Hobby craft wool. It is beautiful wool and very reasonably priced. The staff were so helpful with lot numbers and batch numbers. Highly recommended all round
