Crafty use of box
So I wanted to use an anglepoise-style lamp on my desk, but it needed to rise above my dual monitors. I was thinking I would have to make some thing that I could clamp to the desk with a G-clamp, and clamp the lamp to that. Then I remembered seeing these boxes in Hobbycraft recently when I was looking for something else. It would be a lot cheaper, and quicker than if I put something together myself so I bought one - and it seems sturdy enough for the task. They are quite lightweight, which might be good if you are using it as a pencil box and carrying it around. Might get round to giving it a coat of varnish...

Nice little wooden box.
I'm always buying wooden items and for some strange reason picked this up. When I saw it I thought 'Pen Box' but will probably use it for something else, depending on how I decorate it.
