More gel than icing
This was clear, like a gel - not like I expected icing to look and it also never set hard like icing would. The tube was easy to use and great for writing with - the gel came out very smoothly and easily but I would definitely call this a gel NOT an icing.

Fine nozzle, good for small detailed decorations
The small nozzle means you can control the speed at which the icing comes out and do detailed decorations more easily

I found this product to be to sticky like jelly and nothing like icing it didn't really set hard on my truffles, When I purchased it I was wanting a green colour as well as the red, but there was no green colour, but I'm glad it wasn't available now, its to sticky.

Can cut to how thick you would like the icing to come out
Only down fall some icing colours are more runny
Got to have a little practice 1st before applying on cake

easy way to pipe
Love these tubes of icing, easy to use, less messy. Happy with others have used previously, disappointed with this one because it was more of a gel & I wanted an icing look.

Bright red and lovely writing icing
Bought this for small decoration for a cake I made for my other half's 21st. He loved the detail and it really stood out on the cake. Was easy to work with too.

Great idea but ...
Bought to decorate biscuits but it did not set hard so I was unable to package and present them - had to bake a second batch and present them uniced! :-(

Didn't do what i wanted
I wanted to pipe some nice zig zags on cookies but the gel was a bit sploggy and would stop connecting half way so the line would only get half way
