Your Cricut Explore Halloween

Level
Intermediate
Time
1/2 day
Budget
10 - 30

Use the Cricut Explore and the associated internet based Design Space software to create some fun decorations for Halloween. This project makes a tantalising sign measuring 9 inch x 18 inch. It is made up of six layers to give strength and rigidity. Alternatively, it could be cut from thick grey board and painted; the deep cut blade and housing unit would be required for the Explore.

Step-3

Cut the images out from card and vinyl, loading them on to the cutting mat and adjusting the Smart Dial accordingly.

Step-4

Glue all the black skeleton layers together then the white layers on top.

Step-5

Glue the grey wording layers together. Using the transfer tape, apply the vinyl wording over the top. Layer the green 'WICKED' images on to the wording piece.

Step-6

Punch holes in the 'W' and push through the black brads.

Step-7

Punch holes towards the top of the wording and the lower side of the arm. Attach a jump ring to each hole and join the two pieces together using chain.
