Product description

This Tamiya 1:35 Scale Hanomag SD. KFZ 251/1 is a fantastic premium quality 1:35 scale plastic model kit. Highly detailed, this is an armoured half-track vehicle designed by Hanomag and used by Germany during the Second World War. Many different versions of the SD. KFZ 251 were produced by Germany throughout World War II to meet different infantry support roles.

This model kit depicts the SD. KFZ 251/1, the standard personnel carrier variant of the type. The kit includes five crew figures in lifelike poses. This model can be built using the simple step-by-step instructions.

Please note that paint and glue are not included in the kit.

This model kit is of a 'Hanomag' APC - It comes with it's own Assault Crew of 5 figures , all in action poses, that work in and around the vehicle. 2 are armed with MG34's - 1 of them is firing his. 2 are armed with the infantry standard Mauser 98K bolt action rifles and the Squad Leader has an MP38 Sub-Machine Gun, and a pistol holster.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy kit to build Nice easy kit to build. Maybe a bit tricky for younger children as the back door hinges are a bit fiddly to line up when gluing the two halves together. I would recommend super gluing the front sprocket and idler wheels to their hubs. Front suspension will benefit from a super glue touch just to firm it all together. Otherwise quite a quick build.

I often found whenever was stuck the side instructions often solved exactly what i had an issue with. Ive finished assembling it and am now onto the painting. Very satisfied.
