Excellent value, still a great kit despite its age
Although this is a re release of an older Tamiya kit, it still comes with the usual high moulding quality expected of Tamiya and a few pleasant extras.
This version is minus the munitions trailer but does come with a new set of 4 figures. 3 crew and a farmer. A cart and accessories including clear bottles is a nice touch and as a bonus you still get the original 2 figures included from its first release, a crew officer leaning forward with map and a Tommy.
The tracks are really the only downside as they are only detailed one side and vinyl as per the norm in the 1970s and 80s, these can however now be glued with normal plastic cement.
That said for a kit if this age it is excellent quality and at a very good price, I paid £27 in store.
If you want a simple, hassle free build that easily goes together on a couple of days, this is it. You can then enjoy the painting and weathering, my favourite part, without being bogged down in etched brass and hundreds of parts before painting begins.
HIGHLY recommended.

Good construction and variety
Great kit and goes together well. I enjoyed painting the figures which have a good level of detail. The tank itself is accurate to pictures of the real thing. The ability to take off the upper section to reveal the tracks makes all visible areas easy to access with a paintbrush.If you like painting tanks and figures then this is a good project as it comes with 3 mini diorama figures and 2 earlier production figures.

Tamiya Churchill Mk. VII
Fantastic detailed kit. Instructions clear and precise. Looking to purchase more as getting back into modelling after a 45 year break. This kit is not difficult to construct so is the best re-start project for people like me.

Tamiya quality of a classic British tank
A wonderful kit of the Churchill by Tamiya in1/35..Great figures and nice cart with extras as an extra..Looked through the kit and very happy and being Tamiya,I’m sure it will build well.Also a very nice price for what you get..I really can’t wait to start her after I’ve finished my current build.

Very good, detailed, and a fun build
The model was very detailed and accurate. It came with a large selection of available figures to go with the tank, including a farmer. While being detailed, it is very fun to build and fairly easy to make. Not too many small parts. The fully movable turret and spinning wheels is a great addition.

Fantastic. My boy is enjoying it
I was a bit dubious of the amount of money it was but I bit the bullet and bought it anyway. It is WELL worth the money. My boy and my partner have been doing it as a bonding time for them both and it's thoroughly helped. They both enjoy when it comes to building this. The pieces are well made.
