Flawless kit
I bought this kit about a week or so ago. Its the usual Tamiya high quality and extremely well engineered. One of the few kits I have built that hasnt needed a single spot of filler anywhere and it builds up to an amazing model. Even with a number of small fiddly parts that my big hands struggled with I would recommend this kit to anyone interested in British tanks.

A high quality model, and a pleasure to build
A very pleasant build as usual with Tamiya, being released with new tooling in 2009. It has options for both rubber band and link & length tracks which is very good for both the new and advanced modelers; and beautiful pre-applied cast textures on all the appropriate pieces, further adding to its quality. With its use in North Africa it also permits one to paint it in the most interesting Caunter camouflage scheme.

Waltz with this Matilda in 1:35.!
Looks a great build.Very happy with parts detail and some great marking options,2 desert and 1 in England.Figures included look very passable.All around a great kit from Tamiya
