This heavyweight canvas is perfect for use with oil and acrylic paints. The canvas is glued to a thick piece of card for additional support and has been triple primed with gesso. It is acid free and has a fine grain which is great for detailed sketches and paintings.
Due to the shape of the canvas panel, the sides are extremely thin, which will enhance any 3D artwork and will allow you to frame your favourite pieces.

Canvas panel
I was looking to experiment with acrylics but didn't want the bulk of stretched canvas or the flimsiness of acrylic paper. The canvas panels are a happy compromise and they are a pleasure to use. I am very pleased with the results which are crisp and bright and what I was hoping for in my abstract painting. I will continue to use them and will certainly try the larger sizes having now found some confidence with these (18"x14").

This is an ideal product for the acrylic painter.
Great product as an alternative to canvas. Is excellent to work on and is just the job for acrylic painting. Only one niggle....panels tend to be distorted when purchased and require careful bending to flatten out. Could this be caused by the packaging method being applied too tightly?

Decent item but spoiled by packaging
The canvas board itself was fine but the cardboard label was GLUED to the front with glue that did NOT come off. Fortunately I was using this for a textured painting demonstration but had I been wanting to paint smooth it would have been no good.

Good product. You may need to attach a foam backing board to correct bowing if you apply copious amounts of liquid paints.
Be careful which packet you select. They can get bashed and bent on the shelves in shops.

Good, strong item
This was perfect for a portrait. Sturdy, and nicely finished, although the board had a bit of a bend to it possibly due to being displayed on its edge. Would be better displayed/stored flat.

Overall great product
This board is an overall well-prepared surface- perfect for using with oils. It's also sturdy and a great support for paintings. This one in particular is a nice size in-between A3 and A2.

Loyalty card
I buy lots from Hobby craft and generally happy but I’ve had TWO loyalty cards so far and neither of them work at the till which is very frustrating.

Really good!
This is a really good canvas to paint on and it's definitely not too rough which I enjoyed although many were dented in store.
