Rated 4 out of 5 by from A handy little tool I use this heating tool to get a good smooth top to container candles which it does well, the heat is sufficient to melt a layer of wax quickly and the fan enough to smooth the wax. It is limited by having a single speed but that is clear on the packaging and for my purpose it is easily remedied by just moving the tool back a little, the heat is strong enough to allow for this. The heat is well focused and tool light and easy to handle and control, it appears well made and sturdy in construction. In short this is reasonably priced solution and an ideal little tool for my purpose, very pleased with my purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great I bought this to even out the tops of my homemade candles and it does exactly what I wanted really quickly - would highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must have for Resin crafters! This works perfectly. I bought it for resin to release air bubbles but found it's also perfect if you use plastic moulds for resin and helps release cured pieces. The only downside is the cable is not very long.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Bought for my wife. She's only used it twice so far since buying last week but she tells me it's powerful, heats up quickly. Lightweight. Nice grip middle part. Lead a fairly good length but would need a socket nearby because the flex isn't long enough to comfortably use the gun safely from a socket good distance away from work. Nearby socket it's fine. Stands well on the stand bracket. Pleased with gun.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Compact lightweight simple on/off hot air source Works well with paper paint embossing tasks but the fixed relatively low temperature output limits the tools use for other tasks. The output heat value should be shown on the product or its packaging.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mixed reaction I’m in two minds over this. The heat gun works very well embossing etc BUT the cord/flex is very short (I’m guessing about a metre long), so if you don’t have a close socket (I have a 4 gang trailing socket literally under my craft desk and it wasn’t enough that the gun could sit on the desk). I lost a whopping amount of embossing powder when the weight of the gun combined with the super short cable pulled the gun off the desk, taking my very expensive opened embossing powders with it. Lesson learned!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great This is a much needed tool for any crafter. Does exactly what it says it does. My only gripe is the power cord is to short.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does what it says. A) Yes the lead is relatively short. So is life - compromise! B) Yes it has one speed setting. If you want more buy a different one. C) Yes it does get hot. That’s kind of the point. D) Yes it heats and melts things! Good huh? Otherwise you’d want a cold tool.
