How to Make a Macrame Keyring
Macrame keyrings are quick and easy to make and can make perfect presents for friends and family. Once you have followed this step by step, try experimenting with different knots to create your very own design.

* Knitcraft Return of the Mac Yarn - Ecru
* D-Ring Buckles
* Scissors
* Measuring Tape
How To Make
Cut the following lengths:
4 x 1.5m
1 x 80cm
Attach 4 x 1.5m lengths to D ring using the Larks head knot.
Using string 4 as a guide, create a diagonal row of double half hitch knots.
Repeat on the other side.
Repeat on both sides once more.
Create a square knot in line with last double half hitch knot using centre 4 strings.
Using string 1 create a diagonal row of double half hitch knots with strings 2 to 4.
Repeat on the other side.
Repeat once more.
Create a double half hitch knots using both guides to close the diamond.
Repeat Steps 1-3 again to complete 2 diamonds in full.
Using 80cm create a gathering knot underneath the last section of knots.
Trim tassels to desired length.
