How to make

You Will Need

* Knitcraft Return of the Mac Yarn 200g - Ecru

* D-Ring Buckles

* Scissors

* Measuring Tape

Step 1

Cut the following lengths:

4 x 1.5m

1 x 80cm

Attach 4 x 1.5m lengths to D ring using the Larks head knot.

Using string 4 as a guide, create a diagonal row of double half hitch knots.

Repeat on the other side.

Repeat on both sides once more.

Step 2

Create a square knot in line with last double half hitch knot using centre 4 strings.

Step 3

Using string 1 create a diagonal row of double half hitch knots with strings 2 to 4.

Repeat on the other side.

Repeat once more.

Create a double half hitch knots using both guides to close the diamond.

Repeat Steps 1-3 again to complete 2 diamonds in full.

Step 4

Using 80cm create a gathering knot underneath the last section of knots.

Trim tassels to desired length.

Without teaching me how to make the knots, doesn’t feel like this is teaching me anything. Either the instructions aren’t your face enough for this simple soul or I’m a step before ‘beginner’ in the macrame world.
