Faulty cap
I should have taken other buyers advice on this can of montana spray paint.
I have taken delivery of a can with the wrong top, it sprayed out at angles, because hobbycraft replaced the original gold cap with a white cap which is too shallow and doesnt fit around the spray nozzle. I feel so angry having read previous reviews and took a chance! Only for it to happen to me. Hobbycraft Im looking for a full refund. I vow never to shop with you again.

Beautiful deep gold colour… very impressive
The paint is beautiful with the most natural gold colour I have seen. It’s not a tough paint so will need a cleat coat if used externally which unfortunately takes the shine off but still a good colour. BEWARE make sure to remove the little black safety disc from under the nozzle before use, otherwise it won’t work.

Not good
I bought two different colours - a brown and a green - to paint my bike. The paint clogs and splatters and leaves blobs all over your work. I’ve used other brands and not had this problem. May be fine for graffiti art but would not recommend for this kind of thing. Oh and the finish is really grainy as well. I’ve seen other people say the same thing so it’s not just me.

Incorrect nozzle issued
I bought this item in Truro, about 20 miles from my home. At the checkout i was given a nozzle to go with the can. When i used it the gold paint sprayed everywhere covering the floor, my clothes, hands and table. I removed it all eventually with white spirit i returned it to the store, another long drive, and the checkout lady said i was issued with the incorrect nozzle. Not even an apology!

Disappointed
The staff remove the spray lid due to theft.......when using the product more paint leaked out of the tin than actually used. In the end it was unusable and just poured out of the top. It ruined clothes and shoes and was unable to actually paint what I had brought the paint for. Avoid

not suitable for plastic
not suitable for plastic. ive used this before and its a wonderful paint. i chose it for its durability but it doesnt adhere to the plastic well. infact it was so sticky i had to either use some nail varnish to remove the paint or throw the project away. disappointing.

Paint everywhere nozzle didn’t fit
Nozzle for this product (and another can pink pink) bought at the same time, didn’t fit onto the can - paint sprayed everywhere. I followed all the instructions on the Montana video. Very disappointed. I see from the reviews that I am not alone!
