Definitely works produce a level a cake
This product definitely works to produce a level cake, although the cake has a slightly more dense texture I don’t think this affects the ‘eat’ of it. I cooked at slightly lower heat (about 170) as I needed to leave it in oven longer to brown. I will be buying more belts so I can bake more than one at a time!

Great piece of equipment
This was the first time I used a baking strip. Both cakes I baked turned out to be completely flat topped and the same colour all the way through. I would definitely recommend this product! Just ensure you thoroughly soak it all the way through

Did as it says
Whilst my cake did have a flat top as promised it unfortunately did not bake in the middle, the instructions did not say that you should bake at a lower heat for longer and the cake on cooling collapsed in the middle.

Perfect result
First time of using a baking belt and was impressed well baked cake with no dome on the top ( although took slightly longer to bake) wasn’t aware they came in different sizes though so will be buying more

I didn't even know these existed. Saw this by chance & thought I would try it as is wasn't expensive. I only bought 1 to try but I had enough mixture for multiple tins. All cooked in the oven at the same time the one with the belt came out far better than the other two, fluffed up with no dome and no dry edges. Definitely buying more!

Amazing for perfect level cakes
I've been getting into baking over the lockdowns but have always struggled with uneven rises on cakes. I was browsing the website and came across the baking belt after reading many good reviews I went to my local store and was excited to try this belt.
My cake has never risen so evenly! I am very impressed. Definitely a must buy!

Fabulous!
I love this belt for baking cakes and brownies! No longer have to cut the edges off my brownies. Recommend PME release spray with it too. Saves using baking paper!
