The PME Level Baking Belt will help you achieve perfectly level, moist cakes without cracks!

Designed for use with 4-inch deep baking pans, it fits around round cake pans that have a diameter of 9 to 11 inches and square cake pans that have a diameter of 6 to 9 inches. The belt ensures an even distribution of heat, with multiple layers of specially selected fabric.

These cake strips works by insulating and reflecting the heat coming to the pan from the sides, forcing it instead to rise evenly from base of the tin upwards. It's a great way to optimise your baking and it's quick to assemble, with pin-free fastening.

And oh my god why did I not try this before it's absolutely amazing . Cakes cooked evenly and flat on top. I don't know why I never got one before will never bake another cake without it . Definitely go buy one if your a keen baker you will be amazed by the results.

Rated 4 out of 5 by NannySxT from Really useful I make quite a few cakes but it is boring wrapping paper round the tin and tying it with string. This does away with that and as you soak it in water before using it keeps the outside of the tin cool so that the cake rises evenly. Clever idea.
