I have recently bought 4 zips from hobby craft of different sizes. I used a grey 8 inch zip and made a lovely pencil case also using hobby crafts nursery material and professional sewing kit for the stitches. The pensil case is of a high quality and made it easier for me (a beginner) to make a easy cut and stiches.
