DOES NO ONE TEST THESE? OR EVEN OPEN THE BOX??
I'd like to know what happened in the product testing team?? Last year's Christmas cross stitches were a little odd, and all had heaps of outlining in black, but these ones seem like a last minute rush job. It's obvious from the listing that no one actually opened up the box to see what the colours were, since my gonk has a grey beard where as the listing has a white one. The listing is also a digital render rather than an actual cross stitch.
The pattern was VERY difficult to follow since the grid lines weren't centered for the pattern. It claims to be a 40x38 stitches design, but the pattern is 45x45 stitches!
The pattern doesn't fit in a 3 inch hoop. I know its meant for aperture cards, but I use them as tree ornaments, and so when the hoops are on half price during the year I get a lot, ready for Christmas. Now I'm going to have to go back and buy 4 inch hoops and hope that I have enough aida to fit!
You have a lot of colleagues who could probably test them for you, but you obviously chose not to do that.
Very disappointed.

Great little kits with lots of finished uses
Not as good as would have expected in that colours were hard to sort from the little tiny squares especially the darker colours. Bought to make cards they look good stitched but could improve just by making the square a bit bigger of each colour when alot of similar colours and thats my only negative so got to be good

No time at all
Every year I say that I'm not going to buy any more mini kits from you and then you bring out something so cute I just have to have it!! This kit is up to the quality I expect from Hobbycraft. Easy to follow instructions, plenty of thread included and stitched up in next to no time.

Stocking fillers
Have not used this yet as its for stocking fillers but im excited to use them , so i do want to give a 5 as im sure they will be great.
