Great Little kit
I've now done 6 of these little kits and ordered some more. I think they are good value for money and easy to do. The aida is just the right size and stiff enough so you don't need a hoop if you handle it carefully, though I do have a little 3 inch one which I used on some of them. They all look great when done, and plenty of thread is supplied. I'm experienced at cross stitch and embroidery but a few basic instructions would make it easier for beginners. My advice is first work out which colour thread corresponds to the colours on the chart, as the chart colours are not always the same as the actual thread e.g given three colours of red work out lightest to darkest. Then find the centre of the aida by folding it in half and half again. Look on the chart, using the little black arrows on the edge to locate the centre and start sewing from the centre of the aida. If you are a beginner look up cross stitch techniques online before starting. Iron on the back when done before mounting.

Not for a beginner
Bought last year and found that there's a scrappy piece of aida, far more thread than needed and very little instruction on the slip included. Certainly no good for a beginner. Design is simple though so I managed to finish it regardless. Looks nice finished.

Could be better!
Symbols needed on threaded card as it's difficult to be sure of colours. Seems to be a colour short in this pack!!? Had to improvise to finish. Only one needle included - they're are two in some packs!!?
