Made by Cricut but my Cricut can't cut it!
I bought this specifically to use with my Cricut Explore Air 2 and it just won't cut meaning I have wasted a lot of money on something I can't use.
I have checked the cricut forums and it seems I am not the only one to experience this issue and I tried all of the suggested work-arounds but to no avail. Very disappointed. I have had to cut basic shapes using scissors instead of the things I had been hoping to cut using my machine.
Completely not Hobbycraft's fault - it's a Cricut issue - but still very disappointing.

Nice effect but don't use on card
Wanted to use this as part of a project with card - putting vinyl lettering across a card pocket/envelope. The extra strong transfer tape works to pick up the vinyl but it then takes off the card after you've transferred it (even when being super careful). Would use for other projects that don't involve card but wish I had known this before buying and then attempting to use on card.

Lovely once you get the cut settings right
Brought this to make some Christmas decorations, struggled to find a setting that would cut this on my maker. If you use shimmer vinyl setting but put it through for a second cut BEFORE you unload your mat it will cut perfect. Wish I knew this before as wasted lots trying. It also comes with it's own super strong transfer tape.

Not all vinyl is equal!
I have been using some cheaper vinyl for my test cuts and you can seriously tell the different.
The cricut vinyl is a lot easier to work with, easier to weed meaning even my crazy small intricate designs still come out really well. Defiantly worth the purchase.

Disappointed
Hobby craft had an amazing range of vinyl from Cricut. So much to offer but was highly disappointed at the quality. It doesnt cut properly and have been told it is really bad.
I wouldnt recommend and i wish i went for Hobby Craft brand.

Great product
I used this shimmer vinyl to make ‘thank you’ vases for the teachers at the end of term. It’s Easy to use (once I figured out the right settings on my machine!) and looks fab on the vases. Easy to weed and transfer.

This is absolutely brilliant...we used this on a shadow box and acanvass for a wedding gift and it really stood out.
It was easy to cut and weed and will definately be buying more.

Can be tricky
This vinyl can be trick to weed , sometimes doesn’t cut brilliantly by the machine and can become tricky when trying to separate without tearing the the final piece . Looks fab when on tho :)
