The children thoroughly enjoyed building their own monsters. The different textures really appealed to them and they loved having pictorial guides to work from. Both of them ended up deviating from the plan, which meant their monsters turned out unique and they were really chuffed with the way they solidified to make them permanent sculptures. The texture of the foam clay was interesting - one child loved it, the other was a bit unsure, but stuck with it and ended up really enjoying creating the monsters. We packed the clay back into it's containers to continue building another day and it worked perfectly. The clays hardens within about 12 hours when exposed to air.

Great little kit
My 5 year old loved making this kit. The clay is really easy to mould, the steps are laid out simply for children to follow.
