Shopping List

Where practicality meets beauty... Using a roll of craft paper, a wooden dowel and string, display your illustrated shopping list with pride in your kitchen.

Download the template, place under the paper and trace over the top. Thread the dowel through the paper roll and hang using two loops of string.

Wooden Storage - Step 1

Download the template to practice your lettering.

Using a pencil, roughly draw out the placement of the letters onto the front of the storage boxes. Once you're happy with how it looks, work over it with a POSCA Pen to create simple stylised lettering.

Wooden Storage - Step 2

Create a pattern using masking tape. You can make this as simple or as complicated as you like.

Tip: Keep in mind you will be painting the exposed wooden spaces and the tape will reveal the pattern once dry.

Wooden Storage - Step 3

Apply a thin layer of acrylic paint onto each of the exposed shapes from your taped pattern.

We've used a limited palette to create a consistent design, ideally three to four colours will work well.

Step%203.jpg?sw=554&q=85
Wooden Storage - Step 4
Leave the paint to dry with the masking tape still in place.

Wooden Storage - Step 5

Once dry, remove the masking tape to reveal your pattern.

Touch up any sides where the paint has seeped in if necessary.

Wooden Storage - Step 6

Your wooden storage is now complete and ready to house your fresh produce.

Display on shelves, worktops or personalise your pantry!
