Step-1

Before applying any paint to the ceramic hearts, why not have a try on a piece of paper to see how each brushstroke will look depending on which paintbrush you use, how much paint you use or how much pressure you apply when spreading the paint. When you have found your desired look, get stuck in! (Make sure to leave to dry before moving on to step 2.)

Step-2

This step depends on how far you want to go with the ceramic hearts. Maybe you want to leave them as they are with just brushstroke marks on them or maybe you want to personalise them further… If you'd like to do this, please read on. Take a fine paintbrush and some gold acrylic paint to paint a thin outline on the edge of the ceramic heart. Leave to dry. By now, everything should be dry. You can now start personalising with initials using a black Posca pen!
