How to make

Step-1

Thread and tie a loop of string through the metal hanger on each egg.

Step-2

Give your Eggs a couple of coats of white acrylic paint as a base (this will help to make the marble colours really vivid)

Step-3

Cover your table with paper towels or newspaper to protect it then fill the plastic container three-quarters full with water at room temperature, (if the water is too cold or too hot, the paints will sink or thicken too quickly).

Step-4

Drip a few small drops of both the Vitrail and Ceramic paints of your choice over the water surface.

Step-5

Lightly swirl the water with the wooden skewer to combine the colors a little for effect. Take care not to over-mix.

Step-6

Working quickly, dip an egg into the water, starting at one end of the container turning it around to the other end until it’s covered all over with the glossy marble colour.

Step-7

Hang your painted eggs up to dry overnight. When dry exchange the string for ribbons to finish off your marbled egg collection.
