Williams-Renault FW14B
Having received Aryton Senna's McLaren for Christmas I had to pick up Mansell's Williams-Renault to go with it, and without a shadpw of a doubt in my mind, if this becomes a series, I must have them all.
The set itself is an excellent representation of the actual car, and even without the sponsorship of the tobacco companies (and for good reason) it really looks the part on any collectors shelves. The model is sturdy and well built, nothing feels flimsy or is likely to fall of when handling it (even the front wing, that looks unstable is secure). Sitting next to Senna's McLaren it looks amazing, and I'm looking forward to the next one.

Great gift for any F1 fan
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this set for my honest and personal opinion. This is a great set, very fun and interesting build, it's not as complex as the Technik ranges and is larger then i initially thought, am used to the smaller speed champ ranges, I think it's a great set for fans of F1 and makes a fantastic display piece, which could be a pretty cool gift for a parent or friend who doesn't necessarily buy lego but are fans of F1. It's quite pricey and I think that's mostly due to the licensing, but Lego and other retailers usually do deals throughout the year so that's when to check it.

Fantastic product for the whole family
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Oh my word what a lovely weekend I have had with my 8 and 12 year old, all thanks to Lego! On a rainy weekend we decided to attempt the Formula One car. We all worked as a team to construct it and enjoyed every second. Lego have changed all packaging to paper and card which I was hugely impressed by. The kids loved the instruction book with infornation on Nigel Mansell - fantastic for them to understand the story behind the car. The instructions were clear and simple so that anyone could understand them. The only problem is that im desperate for the kids to hurry home from school so that we can continue building our car!!!
Another big win from a fantastic brand, well done Lego. Thoughtly designed as a replica to the original.
The big decision is what shall we build next....
Finished car picture will be added shortly but I couldn't wait to add my review.

Best F1 Car Yet!
When I got the MP4/4 I was happy but a little disappointed with the inaccuracies that set had. When I got the FW14B, I was ecstatic. Every problem with the McLaren was completely fixed with the Williams and the car looks fantastic. Clean and sleek with all the right details and the best looking engine bay so far. Having spent a lot of time with the real car, I can appreciate the details even more. Only thing I ask of Lego is to keep building more historic F1 cars.

Red 5…..in Lego!!!!!
Occasionally a new Lego product appears on the website and it’s not a case of “do I want this?” Or “is this value for money?” Or “if so then, when do I pencil this in for potential purchase?”. Sometimes it’s simply “oh wow - that is amazing. When is it available? And I’m ordering this the moment it becomes available!!!!”. I’m an F1 fan and have been for over 40 years. I felt I had to purchase the Ayrton Senna McLaren last year. The model looked pretty good, the minifigure with the iconic helmet, standing on a plinth was a nice touch, and yeah, although never a massive fan of the Brazilian, there’s no doubting his place in the sport as one of the true greats - an Icon if you will. I’m glad I purchased that model. But this? What can I say? I think this is an even better Lego model than the McLaren last year - it looks incredible and I feel it’s more faithful to the actual car - has more parts too. Again, the minifigure of the great man himself is excellent. Nigel Mansell in Lego….. just brilliant. Thank you so much to whoever signed off on producing this wonderful model. Ordered the moment I could, built as quickly as I could - and this model will have pride of place on display always. Thank you again Lego. Oh, and if you ever want to do a Lewis Hamilton Mercedes in this series then that would be good!!!!

One of my favourite builds yet!!
This has to be one of the most enjoyable builds so far. Love that Lego had listened to us from the previous Senna McLaren car that we wanted different sized wheels to the front. The only downside is the amount of stickers used and hardly any printed elements apart the tyres. The Nigel mansell mini figure has to be one of my favourites. Great set and can’t wait for more of these iconic F1 cars

Nice upgrade
Enjoyed the Senna build but this one was better. Upgraded wider rears are a nice touch and was overlooked during the Senna design. Step in the right direction with the F1 models.
