waste of money
Looked good in the packet, this is the second time I have purchased these, the first time they were in the bargain bin so thought the reason I couldn't get them out of packaging in one piece was because they were old. However I had the same problem with these so won't be buying them again. and they are not cheap

Very realistic "jewels"
Rather expensive and very awkward to remove from packaging, but they stayed intact even though I had to use a sharp point. Would be easier to set into buttercream than fondant - I had to make a hole and use edible glue to ensure they stayed put, but pleased with the results!

Look beautiful but hard to use
These look great, but have a jelly like texture and are almost impossible to get out of the mould with damaging them. Also once you get your finger prints on them they lose their shine.

Added sparkle!
These added the perfect extra sparkle to a recent 'glimmer and shine' cake I made for a lovely 5 year old! Would definitely recommend.

Don't bother
Really difficult to get out of the packaging in one piece as they were too soft even after cooling overnight in the fridge

Not fit for purpose!
Total waste of money, they wouldn’t peel off the backing properly so then became misshaped. Gave up and threw them away.

Look great and surprisingly edible
I bought these edible gems (pink) with some other cake making stuff as a present for my God Daughter. They look like real gems but she had a lovely surprise when she opened them I found they were like jelly - she loved them even more when she realised she could eat them and couldn't wait to start making cakes!
