Skeptical at first
I really wasn't sure how this would be for my cake decoration after reading some rather mixed reviews. To the point where I invested in the Wilton Gum-Tex at the same time in case this didn't work out. But to my absolute delight, this worked amazingly. I needed to make two silhouette images about 0.5cm thick and 20-23cm tall with the intention of propping them up, largely unaided, against the side of my 15cm tall cake and it worked! The cake and all decorations even made a 60 mile journey in one piece. Absolutely thrilled and will definitely use this product again.

Incredibly difficult to work with. It starts to dry the instant you open the packet and it cracks if you try and bend it.
Will definitely use black fondant next time as I was really disappointed with the finish.

Very dry and not easy to use
This product has always been a little more difficult than the others in this range, however the pack I brought was awful, it was all dry and when you took the dry bits off there were big lumps in the past itself. The only reason I didn’t return to the store is because I needed it urgently so had to work with it and use a lot of petal base.

This product saves so much work
I really like this product, it is so easy to use, no hard work trying to go through '50 shades of grey' to get to black. No stained fingers or tacky paste due to having to use so much food colouring. It's all ready to use, making the project more enjoyable and saves a lot of time.

Disappointed
A bit disappointed , The fondant was very and hard to make malleable, they’ve changed the recipe, which makes it less sticky than it used to be, but this time I found this really hard to work with . Ended up with cracks all over the decorative bits of cake .

Modelling fondant
Good product, found that it was harder to use than the white modelling fondant. It is harder in the sense that I found the white one a touch softer so was easier to use. With the black version I hard to kneed it quite a bit to get it to a workable texture.

Lovely finish
I was truggling to find paste that would make my flowers and models stay put! This product not only helps with that but is also easy to use and leaves my creations looking beautiful!!
