Better than expected
I'd seen this online and was unsure whether to buy it so i took a trip into my local hobby craft to go see it before i decide if its for me or not. The quality of this product surprised me, its a leather carrier, so its a bit on the heavy side but i don't plan on carrying it anywhere. Inside is 2 mats to arrange parts of the puzzle which feels like swede material and all the inside parts are made from the same soft material. I would suggest not sticking your fingers in the material because i think that would create an uneven surface but if that can be kept in tact then i think it would keep my hobby going for some time to come

Disappointingly not as good quality as my previous jumbo portapuzzle
My old one finally gave up the ghost after 10+ years so I bought a new one of exactly the same brand. Sadly, I don't expect this one to last a year! The padding is thinner so won't hold the pieces in place properly, the covering fabric is not taught, the boards (which on my old version remained stiff when held by the corner) are now so thin and cheap that they bend and flop easily. The whole thing seems to be made with cheap thin foam on cheap thin cardboard. On top of all that, the cost is very high at £30! I am very disappointed with the quality, especially as Jumbo make such good quality puzzles. I may look at repairing my old one if I cannot find the same thing from a different manufacturer. I can't say enough how sadly disappointed I am. I was so excited to get a brand new one and I expected so much more from Jumbo... sad!

Fantastic product - My Mum loves it!
I bought this for my elderly mum. She has recently got into card making, so her kitchen table is scattered with craft materials. She has been wanting to get her jigsaws out for some time, but the idea of clearing the table always put her off (she has severe mobility issues).
I bought her this so she could place it on top of the craft materials and could jigsaw to her hearts content and could easily put it away if she wanted to craft again before finishing the puzzle. I was a little skeptical of its claims, but it really does exactly what it promises to do, and she is over the moon. She can swap and change what she does in the evening with little effort and she relishes the freedom and independence it has afforded her.
Great product and I highly recommend it :-)

Excellent
An excellent product, the jigsaw pieces will stay in place on the mats even when you carry it around including pieces either completely loose or not all fitted together. One thing to note is I had bought some panoramic jigsaws, 1000 piece, and these will NOT fit on the board. This was my own fault for not checking the size but it is worth noting to just double check the size of your puzzle and make sure it will fit (its not short by too much and would fit a regular 1000 piece easy enough). It has 2 mats that go over the puzzle for transport and these can be used to sort through pieces, I have found them to be very useful. Overall I'm very pleased with my purchase, even though it is quite pricey, I would say its worth every penny.

Somewhat disappointed
We have previously had a roll up mat which was fine but because we enjoy puzzling we thought we would upgrade. Unfortunately one of the inner removable pads appears to be thinner than the other and therefore the pieces on that mat slide to the bottom when transported. I would also add that the main cushioning of the interior of the base was creased on receipt and therefore does not allow the puzzle to sit flat.

Awesome!
I bought this for my dad (I already have the same one) because he wanted to start doing jigsaws again, and he absolutely loves it! It means when he's not doing the jigsaw, he can put the board behind the sofa, and can start up again whenever he wants...it's a total hit :)

Zip up puzzle board
I was given some vouchers for Christmas and decided to treat myself to a puzzle board which I had been looking at for a while but had been put off by the price but it was well worth the price, I can now zip away the puzzle knowing that the cat can’t get up and play with it, my only problem was that it’s too thick to slide under my sofa and I can’t store it on edge because the pieces slide down, maybe needs a thicker piece of foam.

Brilliant puzzle board
Getting back into doing jigsaw puzzles again I was looking around for something on which to do them. I've tried the roll up mat before and wasn't impressed. Saw this board in store and decided to give it a go. And how pleased am I that I did. I've sat with it on my knee and also used it on a table, zipping it up and storing it upright. When I've come to do the puzzle it has been just as I left it. Just what I was looking for. Would highly recommend.
