Lovely Colours, printed not counted cross stitch!
I bought this last week because I was attracted by the fact that it was printed cross stitch. Excited to make a start got my hoops ready but found it impossible to fix them on. The fabric was so stiff! I tried stitching without the hoops but it was really difficult as no give in the material. The care instructions told how to wash it so thinking it would soften it I washed it. All the colour came out and now I cant see the design to sew! I now realise the instructions must have been for removing the colours once the stitching was completed. I now have a lovely selection of threads and nothing to sew! So disappointed,

Do not buy!
A friend bought this kit and has asked me to embroider it for her. I am a very experienced cross stitcher (for over 50 years!) and can honestly say I have never encountered such impossible, rubbish fabric! It is SO stiff, each stitch is very difficult to work, and to complete the kit would take ages. Fortunately, a graph/chart is included, so I will buy some softer, plain aida, and stitch it from the chart. I suspected that softening the kit fabric by soaking it would remove the design, as confirmed by the other reviewer.

Great value for money.
Currently stitching this design and really enjoying it! The colours are bright and cheerful on easy to follow printed fabric, which was stiff to use at first but soon softened up with use. Great kit.
