Good quality and easy to understand instructions in several languages.
I bought a cross stitch kit by Dimensions of a very cute kitten hanging by his paws from a rope named Hang in there. This is a very straight forward kit, all materials are good quality well set out and easy to understand and are in several languages which is important these days. In my opinion this kit would be suitable for a beginner.

Adorable! And a good step up
I saw this just before the UK shutdown was announced. It called out to me - what better message in a crisis?
All packed very neatly with threads already on an organiser. Instructions were very detailed, but once read through twice very simple to follow.
I recommend that beginners do a few smaller projects before trying this one.
