Is it counted cross stitch or is the design printed on the cloth?

Hi Have received this as a Xmas present. It is supplied with 11 count AIDA which I would usually use 3 strands to stitch. However there are no instructions as to how many strands to use and don't want to run out of thread. Could you advise please. Carol

Hello. The kit includes instructions on the back of the colour picture enclosed. The threads are six strands and it says to separate into three strands as this is what it’s designed for. Hope that helps!
