Translucent
Fimo translucent is the one I prefer from any other brand and this is because after baking it's the most transparent out of any other brand (some brands turn yellowish-beige after baked) . And also because when I add Fimo translucent to any other colour it never has caused discolouration or any other problem. Although translucent in its packet looks like white clay but after baking it gives a nice effect. I mainly use it in food charms like cakes and cupcakes as well as fruit canes since it makes them look realistic. Translucent can also be used in petal canes for roses and flowers like orchids. You can get creative and use it in your own way for an outstanding effect. I absolutely recommend it.
The only thing that I dislike is the price, i find it to be a little too expensive. I get away with it because I apply the student discount which makes one block of Fimo costs £2.07 which is an ok price!!

Nice but a bit hard
I bought the very last in the shop and maybe that's why it was a bit hard. A small amount of oil fixes the problem however, and it has a nice translucent effect after baking.

Lovely clay!
I've always used fimo clay for my projects and I've never had any problems! Always great to work with, strong and sturdy when baked!
I like the translucent white clay as you can mix other colours with it easily to create your own unique colour or paint over it when you're done and it makes the colours pop a bit more!
Will be purchasing more in the future!

This is super!
Its the first time I've ever used this product ...well! What can I say ...its brilliant... absolutely brilliant ...I had to make some small false teeth for a craft product ,after baking for a short amount of time they were done ..oh my gosh they looked so real ..I will definitely be buying more..thankyou hobbiecraft for a great selection and price...

Great for faux effects!
Have recently begun experimenting with creating faux semi-precious stones from polymer clay (up to now, jade and coral); and I've been really impressed with the effect of Fimo Translucent White as part of this. This shows particularly with the faux jade, which looks quite convincing!

This clay is great for any modelling
Even if you don't have other clay colours you can mix the translucent clay with paint, chalks, pastels etc to get the colour you'd like to use. Conditioning it is easy and it come with clear instructions on how to bake without burning it and fixing any breakages.

Needs clay softener
The clay comes in so many nice colours. The white is pure white which is great. The only thing I would suggest is buying some clay softener as this is a slightly harder clay to work with.
