Steer clear
My partner bought me the whole HC own brand PC range and it’s the worst thing I’ve ever used. The clay was very ‘sticky’ upon conditioning and following the baking instructions to a T all of my pieces cracked so bad. Many in my industry have said they’ve never see clay behave in this way. Definitely steer clear, don’t waste your money and go for brands like fimo soft or sculpey primo. They’re slightly pricier but they work how they should! (Think HC need to try again).

Don't bother with Hobbycraft own-brand clay!
Fresh off of a polymer clay jewellery workshop, I decided to buy 2 packs of this instead of femo as I don't have a lot of money. Wasted £20 really.
Half of them are too hard and the other too sticky. After 15 minutes I could smell a terrible smell and went to check to find them smoking in the oven. Half of them had become discoloured (white became an off brown). I spent hours crafting these today so I'm actually really upset that they didn't turn out well.

Not the greatest
Bought two packs to try. The polymer were very hard and when kneading would crumble. When I rolled it out it stuck to my table. Will try a soft version or a different brand I think.

Nearly burnt my house down
I followed the instructions on the back of the pack & baked my clay at 210C fan, however after 9 minutes I smelt the clay burning, opened the oven to a pile of smoke coming out, it set my fire alarm off twice…I think I’ll stick to air dry clay

Awful!
My daughter spent ages making creations for her teacher and TA to say thank you at the end of two years together. I followed the instructions. It all burnt to a black mess filling the house with toxic smoke. She was very upset as am I.

Bought to make jewellery
Bought to make jewellery and it is very malleable and doesn’t dry out. I am practicing with this prior to doing similar jewellery in silver clay

Poor, i do not recommend
Poor quality, my child wasn't able to work with it. To thick and not flexible at all.

Terrible clay
This is horrible clay, very sticky to work with and very brittle once baked
