How to make

Step-1
This pattern is knitted in two halves, so you will need to knit the pattern twice.
Step-2
Cast on 54 stitches
Step-3
Row 1 Knit 2 Purl 2 to the end (this gives a straight edge to work with but you can just do a row of knit if preferred) Row 2 Repeat row 1
Step-4
Row 3 Purl 3 add in 2nd colour yarn, knit 6 in colour 2, return to 1st colour yarn purl 3 (looping the other colour across the back of the knitting keeping this fairly loose so that the knitting does not pull out of shape when completed) repeat to the end of row (this will be the front of the work)
Step-5
Row 4 Keeping in the same colours as the previous row purl 6, knit 3 continue to the end
Step-6
Row 5 purl 3, *pass 3 stitches on to a cable needle and place to the rear of the work knit 3, knit the 3 stitches on the cable needle (cbl3R)*, purl 3 repeat *to* to the end of row.
Step-7
Row 6 as row 3 Row 7 as row 4 Row 8 as row 3 Row 9 as row 4
Step-8
Row 10 as row 5 (cable row)
Step-9
Repeat rows 6 to 10 until you have three complete cables
Step-10
Repeat Row 3 and 4 and then two rows of knit 2 purl 2 in main colour to finish the work Cast off
Step-11
Repeat to form other half.
Step-12
Join the two halves together using main colour yarn if you find it difficult to sew, as some yarns will shed as you sew, use a crochet hook and “sew” together.
Step-13
Take the wreath and pull the work over the circle, wrap the knitting around the wreath and sew together, keeping the ends of the work to the rear or flat side of the wreath. You may need to ease the work around the outside edge as this will be the widest point of the wreath.
Step-14
Attach the felt mistletoe decoration to the centre point at the top of the wreath using a hot glue gun, then adding some bells for extra decoration.

Step-15
All even rows (except the cable rows) in the pattern above would be as row 4, which would become knit 6, purl 3.
