I recently got this set as a Birthday gift and i have to say i really enjoyed the building experience its a great fit to my collection as im from the UK the little replicas that represent each landmarks spot on to its real life counterparts plus it does look great on display next to my our Architecture series

Skyline of old London Town
I bought this set as my first foray back into Lego since my teens and I'm glad I did.
I live in London and adore our old architecture so it was nice to see a set that celebrated that.
Trickiest part was constructing the millennium wheel but I was pleased I managed it.
Favourite part is Tower Bridge as it actually works and looks great.
Would have liked more detailing on the mini Trafalgar Square and maybe a mini St Paul's Cathedral but I'm very happy with how this now looks on my shelf and will probably get the Paris set next.

Very good lego set
I bought this set on abit of a whim as I’ve seen the architecture kits around but never taken the plunge to purchase one and a lot of my lego building friends recommended it to me as a Lego Theme. I’m fairly certain it’s kickstarted a new collection for me! As what I would call a ‘starter kit’ to the architecture range for me it’s an all round favourite. The detail that’s been crammed in on a small piece (in lego standards) is very good and offers a relatively easy build with easy to follow instructions. It’s definitely a set for the older lego builders.

Lovely reminder of a great city!
This was only my second build (after the Tuk Tuk which was also a treat) and I very much enjoyed the process. It is fascinating to see how the designers used different brick shapes to build the skyline. Very different from the Lego of my youth. The overall effect is accurate in miniature form. Living out in the sticks I have it displayed as a reminder of visits to London to see the sights. I’m looking forward to building other landmarks from London and abroad. Thank you Lego for providing me with a new hobby in my retirement!

Nice set, however...
... The instructions at step 17 are WRONG. The 4x2 brick at this stage should be GREY. I only found this when building the houses of Parliament and had to undo that entire section. Poor quality control. The set itself is nice but only 3 stars because I don't expect errors in the instructions.
It only takes a couple of hours to build but the finished item looks nice on my bookcase.

Very Good
Very Good Set, Took about 2 hours and was worth every second. I like the idea of the skyline sets and this has influenced me to buy more. My only gripe is that the London Eye is very flimsy for it’s size. The instructions were easy to follow and bricks were easy to find, I loved the bits of info related to what I was building. Overall a great set.

When a model that isn't that big, such as this one, it is amazing when you are surprised and excited about the details whilst building it. It creates an excellent display piece, less play-ability from it, but I don't think that was the intention. Quality set from the Architecture range.
