The COBI Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird allows you to build this American reconnaissance aircraft that served in the United States Air Force from the 1960s to the 1990s.

The SR-71 had an advanced design, using titanium, which allowed it to withstand the extreme temperatures generated during supersonic flight. It was mainly used for intelligence gathering, and its ability to escape from enemy missiles was a legendary asset.

Its maximum speed exceeded Mach 3 (over 3,700 km/h), and thanks to its operational altitude of up to 26 km, it was difficult for anti-missile defence systems to shoot down.

Using 1374 high-quality COBI blocks, you can build this plane in 1:48 scale. The model features detachable landing gear, movable wing ailerons and an opening cockpit with space for figures.
