The watchtower is a symbol of vigilance, strength and readiness of the Roman army.

The tall, wooden structure is the first line of defence against danger. A vigilant guard from the tower scanned the horizon for the enemy, ready to raise the alarm at any moment. Towers of this type were an integral part of Roman military camps (castrum).

The set includes three realistic figures: a Roman legionary in full gear and two Gallic warriors.
