Extremely happy!
I have just opened my own cake business and Hobbycraft is always there for the added extras I need. This cake leveller has been one of the best purchases I’ve bought! Everyone always asks me how the layers of my cake inside look so even, this is trick! Whether you’re baking for fun, as a hobby or professionally this is a great baking tool to have in the kitchen!

Practice makes perfect slices
Though better than using a large knife I thought this cake slicer was a bit awkward to use at first. Had to use 2 hands in a side to side motion and a bit of cake pulled off at the edge which left a gap.
Still, perseverance pays off and I'm now more confident when using it.
Do think however, it should come with a cover for the wire for safe storage.

Fantastic
This cake leveller is really good. The only thing I would advise is to cut the edges around the cake first then use the leveller to cut a straight line! It is an amazing buy!

Such good quality and great at its job
I had bought this leveller after needing one for quite a while, I'd owned one or two in the past that I'd ended up throwing away because they just weren't up to the job. I bought this one with low expectations but being desperate decided to give it a go - and wow did it surpass my expectations and more! It's so quick and easy to use, cuts through the cakes perfectly, and you can pop it in the dishwasher when it needs cleaning. Amazing, would definitely recommend!

Best thing I've bought for my cakes
This cake level cutter has been one of my best purchases makes life so much easier than trying to keep your arm positioned to get even layers for your cake a must have for any Baker. Hobbycraft have a great selection of baking equipment and frosting flowers trays anything you need great shop and great service highly recommend for any purchases.

Delighted when I saw on shelf in local Hobbycraft, wasn't looking for one but as I had s big cake that weekend decided to try. I found was out able to get through the outside of my Vic sponge, once I had cut the edges off and started the action it wasn't so bad, bit disappointed reakly

Works really well
Does what it says on the tin, worked brilliantly for cutting my cake in half neatly. The only issue was how you adjust the height, as that is a bit fiddly. Other than that, it was just what I needed. Just make sure it's the right width for your cake!
