Our Winners Have Been Crowned

In April, we launched a nationwide competition to find the best Jubilee-themed crafts from the UK’s talented makers and creators. We received hundreds of entries to our Jubilee Craft Competition, from bunting to bouquets and everything in between, and we were astounded with the creativity and talent on display.

After much deliberation, our esteemed panel of judges and Daily Mail readers pored over the entries and have selected their favourites.

The Winners

Adult Winner - Sandra Dixon

"Sandra’s beautiful post-box topper looks so joyful with its regal purple crown, surrounded by flowers, and of course, dusted with corgis. Your street is very lucky to have your wonderful creation on it!" - Abby Hobbs, Judge

Adult Runner-Up - Gillian Cain

"This beautifully made and well-judged piece exactly captures the spirit of our Queen - content, regal, well-prepared and just a little bit (tea) cosy. She lives to serve and she’d love to think she’s going to be useful. She’s really sweet, too- whether you take sugar or not." - Janet Ellis, Judge

Junior Winner - Emily Johnson

"I know lots of grown ups would struggle to make cakes this beautiful ! I love the use of edible pearl for the details on the crowns and as for writing out the lyrics to God Save the Queen, what a steady hand!! This would fit in perfectly at one of the Queens garden parties at Buckingham palace! Fantastic Emily, well done" - Vicky Boyns, Judge

Junior Runner-Up - Samuel Thomas

"The runner-up in the Junior category goes to Samuel for his ‘make your own’ beefeater using a cardboard tube, inspired by the photo that he’s holding! A great way to upcycle and a very heart-warming creation. Thank you for this entry Samuel, it’s a wonderful way to celebrate the Queen’s reign and the perfect symbol for togetherness and making memories together." - Andy Fletcher, Judge

Prize Draw Winner - Kimberly Simpson
