With Colour Mill Oil Blend Food Colouring, you’ll be all set to achieve flawless, vibrant colour finishes for your cake designs every time!

Colour Mill Oil Blends allow the colour to disperse through every part of a fat-rich medium, including the sugar, eggs, and butter. These oils mix much better than water-based gels, resulting in rich, consistent shades that will not fade.

The food colouring works particularly well for buttercream, Swiss meringue, chocolate, cake batter, ganache and sugarpastes. It also works in flower pastes, gumpastes, modelling pastes, royal icing, marzipan, cake mixes, pastry, frostings, isomalt, piping gel, cake lace mixes and more.

The high concentration means you use much less than you normally would to achieve even brighter and colourful results. You only need a tiny drops at a time to build up your colour slowly as you mix your batter. Using more drops will increase the intensity of colour and less will create softer hues.

As well as adding colour to batter and icing, Colour Mill colours can be diluted with alcohol to form an edible paint. Please note, due to the oil in the colours, it may take longer than average to dry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Aly368 from Beautiful color Lovely color and blends well into the chocolate melt. You can also achieve a clor ranging from light dusky pink hue to a burgendy which is fantastic. A little expensive for a small 20ml bottle, especially for an amateur baker like myself.
