Nice icing but hard to soften.
I liked the taste and colour was lovely but it was so hard to soften by hand. Normally when I have a block I can push down on it and it bends and I can kneed and soften it, I pushed on this and it broke in 2 length ways. So the way I found was to let it break length ways and then start twisting little bits of and soften them. Then I kept adding the bits together. Once it was soft though it's nice to work with, keeps it's shape well.

Very impressed
I bought this to cover my sons birthday cake and I was initially a bit skeptical, but I was really impressed with it. I kneaded it until it was pliable and it rolled out really nicely. It's the best sugarpaste I've used in years. It covered the cake so smoothly and is the first time I didn't get the "elephant skin" effect. I will definitely be buying this again!

Disappointing!!
Sorry to say I do not think this paste is very good, certainly not up to Renshaw quality. It was very stiff and hard to roll out and I struggled to get it to required thickness. Didn’t like the taste either. I noticed several people leaving the icing but eating the cake I made!! Very disappointed!

Best for modelling with
First time I’ve used Sugar Paste, having previously used ready to roll fondant icing. Lovely to work with, easy to model and doesn’t create cracks. Will very likely use again.

Disappointing
Dreadful ready to roll icing. It was incredibly hard to roll as far too stiff. It also did not taste nice, such a shame, I wouldn’t purchase it again.
